Hey all riding a stroked 83 fxr living on the island of misfit toys.Site looks cool lotso familiar faces/names and some wicked pissa shit.Met some of you on the EDR and the JJ.
Hello,
I am building a 79 Yamaha SR 500 My own style. It's kind of a sportbobtracker. It will be diferent. It will be light and it will take advantage of the HP/weight ratio. I don't give a shit what other people think of me. My wife is my best friend. My kids (14 &15 yr old boys) consume me. My kids say I scare the shit out of all their friends. I don't want to scare anyone. Badass is a cartoon as far as I'm concerned. I just want to enjoy my family and my bike. Disagree?
I'm DJ. I live on the WA coast. I ride as much as I can and mess with my bikes when I'm not riding/working. Between my wife and I we have 3.5 sportys and a CB450 honda chop. CC looks like a great site, glad to be here.
A pic of my current project with the tins mocked up, still have some trimming to do.
Alex here from Philly, I build bikes in my garage, usually for myself, currently running a 91 sportster chop, with a 56 triumph and 75 harley in the works. If anybody needs help in the philadelphia area, let me know.
What up.
Originally from Southern Utah, now livin in Fort Worth, TX, going to school full time, work part time. Been riding since I was 16 but went the 5 years I was in the Marine Corps without a scoot. Now I have a 05 VTX that's my daily driver that I'm gonna strip down and make.....umm....not stock. That's as far as I'm into the planning of this project (lots of ideas, not so much money). I'd eventually like to build a Buell bobber. Got on the site cause a few of my boys are already on here.
Peace.
Hey all! I found the site while searching for information on shortening swingarm fender struts. Very nice site here. I think I'll stick around.
Anyway, I'm a weekend warrior who came into a shovelhead basket case that is destined to be some kind of bobber. I've been hangin on a few other shovel/chop forums and getting a lot of good info. Looks like this will be another must-visit-often site.
I'm really diggin the How-To section. Keep building it up guys! Maybe one day I'll be in a position to contribute.
