Pulled my 98" Shovelhead out of a hardtail frame.
All that torque was wasted without traction.
Set out to build something tough and agile. With, gasp!, A swingarm
Found this Arlen Ness dropseat wishbone frame on craigslist. With title!
It was painted white over the sweet marbled lacquer!
Couple cans of brake cleaner later and she just needs some
touch up paint.
Round Panhead swingarm, french air-over-oil skinny shocks,
41mm legs in 39mm trees,
18 150 rear wheel, 19 110 front, dual sport tires,
five speed trans, alternator style tin primary,
and that polarizing Hodaka gas tank.
Not sure if I'm gonna run it yet, but if I do, it'll be painted black or "aluminum".

The higher tunnel on the Hodaka tank is a plus vs the pimple on a penis look of low tunnel tanks. The stock dimple could also mount some round interesting badge to take advantage of that design. I don't recall any stock round emblems that fit but like points covers it's a spot customizers could take advantage of.

Not chopped: Pretty much the main components are stock or bolt on aftermarkets. Allot of the parts are used evo-later parts I modded to fit You cant see it, but I like the skull dash, always liked the look
1970, OEM frame. Only change is now it has rear belt drive. I modded it to fit on an early 4 speed ratchet top. (Installed since this pic was taken)
I,m not fan of the front whitewall, but it came with the front wheel and rotor package where I got it. Maybe dye it black?, who knows..............
