Pretty sure they made that wheel in a 21" as well. Called a Thunder star or something. I've always really liked them.

I see a lot of you guys have cut the rear fender supports, you can only ride solo now ? I know it looks good but how do you sell the bike when you can't take a passenger ? Does anyone make a 'replacement' you can bolt or weld on ?

Well, when building a bike passenger accommodations have never been at the forefront of my design parameters. To lesser degree, resale options are in the same boat. How it looks and performs are my priorities but that being said, my 75 has a heavy gauge steel swing arm mounted fender and after I install the fender struts it should be more that sturdy enough to haul a fat chic or 2........assuming they donít mind riding metal with no seat pad.

    Everyone remembers this, right ?

Ok, so once you look past the glitz(or sunglasses in the case of butterface) you see the ugly.

Anyone notice the acorn nuts on the pan covers ? That should have been a clear sign of bullshit going on.

    So I bought this heap.

And after rebuilding EVERYTHING, here she is.

Im not sure when the Sucker folks built this. I do know it was Clayton era before his death. "Supposedly" the man I bought it from got directly from the Punchy stable as it was going out of business. Lots of shady shit was going on at the time. Dumbasses had an oil cooler but no filter.

Let's revive this thread..... Here's a couple shots of my work in progress. Still looking to put a sissy bar on to better support the seat and strap stuff to....... maybe put a set of +6 tubes on front too.
