I never measured them nor cared since I've never replaced fiber clutch plates with stock parts having none lying about but it would make sense for them to have thicker friction material to reduce replacement intervals in fleet use.
It was of course originally a Harley adjective for their parts but one cannot trademark the word "police" so aftermarket plates won't reflect the original. Not that the aftermarket don't try (now there's some offbrand company called "York"). Devious bastids the lot of em!
I'd like to fondle a set (the plates, not the devious bastids) but not enough to track one down.
Maybe Drag or JB have some in their stashes and would post pics. Legit original plates and packaging would resemble these "non police" parts:
