            rode it to work.
had to adjust float lower 1/4" from the top. carb was over fueling while riding.
cheap chinese rebuild kit for the S&S super e gave me a feed nozzle with an ovaled hole for the float needle (no-go)
strapped battery down properly with its 483lb chrome cover.

ordered 1fngr clutch lever, perch, lane splitter handle bars and seat.

I'm curious why did you ditch the CV carb?

i bought the bike with the super E already on it.

update. i was bored the other day so i tinkered.
                speed holes

                gun bluing

my boot was turning silver so i made leather strap for the shifter peg.

took the bike for a ride. my favorite part was being sprinkled with gas because my fuel cap did a disappearing act mid ride.

i had ordered better ergonomic handlebars
the speed wobble is for sure the front wheel not being true.
the jetting needs a fine tune.
the saddleman seat is actually not very comfortable. hope it wears in or il tear into it and put memory for in it.
also i need softer shocks. i have older progressive 12" shocks. very robust rebound lightening into my spine

                    got my new bars.
I like them. tad flimsy, thin metal though. I wouldn't say they are worth the $ at $244. kinetic motorcycles website.
the bars bolted down are flimsy in the bushings also.
I need to either cut the bolts shorter so they don't bottom out or get solid bushings. I will see today and get a good pic.

updated pic with supertrapp exhaust, saddleman seat and hairpin bars.

bars from kinetic motorcycles. If I could I wouldn't buy their bars again. expensive and not good quality.
the seat is ok. its a tad taller. lady slide off the seat without sissy bar.
the exhaust is quiet but still has the Harley roar sound when jamming on it.
the shocks are old progressive. adjusted to softest position and still too stiff.

i put on street glide air shocks even without any air are pretty stiff.
with a fusion and back pain it hurts to ride this bike around.
having trouble finding softer shocks. not sure what to waste my $ on next.
cutting cam cover and maybe painting something on the tank.

need to get ride of the clear fuel hose. its awful flimsy and weak when hot.
bought jet kit to slightly lean out idle pilot jet thanks to Jim's help
2FNGR clutch lever and perch is amazing.

bought a 12cell AG battery, works great, a lot smaller and lighter.

got some extra stuff in for other projects.
                        making a proper sissy bar.
lowering blocks for better taller shocks to still source. i think the 14" triumph Bonneville shocks would be good.(soft)

                            as mentioned before.
wire wheel was very much out of tune.
new tire on alloy wheel and replaced.
alot less death wobble and vibration. both 19"

I scavenged a set of shocks off of a 1984 Sportster that were a fair bit softer than the "dump truck" style spring rate that came stock on my 2001.

                              Maybe something to look into?
