Default Where the heck can I get one of these for a super e

I got a disassembled super e that had most of the parts in the box. The other little things are no biggie. But this part I am stumped on. S&S says they donít sell it. Itís the little bass part that the bellows seal sits on.

The new shiny carb doesnít have it but this other one I have has it. (Pics)

Any ideas or anybody have a broken s&s body laying around

I've never seen anyone remove that brass bushing. I'm impressed.

It would be simple to machine from a brass or bronze bolt long enough to chuck in a lathe etc.

Mine's OD measures .250" so a bolt with a 1/4" shank with the head turned down to capture the bellows and drilled to match your stock part would be easy-ish to manage.

If its just a section of brass tube to take the bellows end , most hobby shops carry a selection ot brass tubing in short pieces.

I like all of your ideas. But I formulated a plan that may work.

I am ended up buying a knock off super e carb on eBay very cheap. Hopefully that has what I need to rob from it.

Backup plan. I am going to the swapmeet today to see what I can find.

No luck at the swapmeet but I did talk with the guys at S&S at bikeweek. Scotty is going to try and come up with one for me from the carb assembly people section of their building.

The knock of carb should be here on Monday.

The Knock off carb came through for the win. Piece extracted and drifted into the super E

Just to give credit where credit is also due:

S&S (Scotty) was nice enough to send me one from their carb manufacturing department.
