Again the same joke, work hinders hobbies but something I still got built in any case.
I started welding the final version of the girder fork. After welding both fork should be sharply sanded and polished before chrome plating.
There is still a lot work to do before I get to drive this hippie chopper on a winding road to sunset.

Wow the front end is going to look sick man. The V800 was my first entry into the bobber world, been addicted ever since. Will be keeping an eye on your build, nice work.

So,
Right now Väinö looks like this.
The Girder fork is almost complete, except the shock absorber mounting brackets need to be welded in right place.
Before chrome plating the parts need to be acid treated and polished of course.
After the completion of the fork, the next step in the project is the sissy bar and the modification of the rear fender. I almost forgot to mention, the king & queen seat of course, so there is still a lot to work.
