Default Axed/Wasp fuel tank plumbing question

Might be silly but here it goes…. Got an axed tank for a shovel bobber project that I’m working on. It comes with a 3/8 npt on the right and a 1/4 npt on the left. How do I plumb these? Get two different petcoks and plumb em together to an in-line filter then the carb? Use the 1/4 then add another 1/4 up high and have a fuel gauge?
    TIA

You need to post a pic of what you have. Another question is I beleive you want to run an external fuel level glass?

Pick one, use it, plug the other. Ditch the filter idea
