Ok, I should have realized what you are planning on doing... Very cool.
So, the Ultima "billet" plates are made from 'cast' billets? LOL, now thats a play on words!

Fuck yeah that helps! May you be draped in the labes of babes for that useful info.

Your pics prove the plate is machined from solid and is nicely reinforced. The domed clutch cover and belt guard are cleanly designed. BDL kits are less expensive than Rivera which doesn't hurt and unlike the otherwise decent generic plate I found needs no clearancing (not a big deal on a mill, I did both my Delkron inners for my FXRs to mix years) for a BDL basket which implies it would fit a Primo.

is the Softail version. They sell a polished and a clear anodized model http://beltdrives.com/wp-content/upl...5-polished.jpg as well as black. I've no interest in black since I'd be recoating some parts after modification.

For what they cost BDL should have put decent pics on their site. That little pixellated shit looks like baby's first web page. (I contacted them to snivel about it so maybe they'll do a better job promoting their bread and butter.)

It does deserve one for period looks but whatever I use shall either be a Baker or get converted like I did my Custom Crap thing (sticks out too far for mids so it won't go on this one) because I really like my knee. I wouldn't use it much since the thrill of kicking vanished in the 1980s fucking with customer bikes but anything I install will be quality. I've got Baker arms and pedals already.

Got any Baker kits in stash of the cable release variety?

I sure like Rivera's kit cause it does not stick out very far at all ...

I been a long time Dealer for them ...

Those off-set kick arms may not be needed ...

              Or ....

                      Do those have internal struts?

Is that your International? You don't see many of those old trucks around... This is one I used to have, along with my early-stage shovel.

ETA: Funny experience... I was interviewing for a maintenance tech job back in '93, and the interviewer asked if I had any mechanical experience. "Well," I said, "My only source of transportation is a 52 International and a shovelhead".
When the IHC broke, it was usually about a week down (depending on the problem) since you had to either build or repair whatever part you were needing. Can't just go buy that shit. Oh, and I did get the job.

How much for a polished Rivera kicker added to the pile (no arm or pedal)?

It looks agreeably narrow. The stainless kicker shaft is a nice cosmetic touch. Is that set screw on the left side of the outer cover next to the speed sensor hole an oil level plug or does it retain internals?

How far Custom are ya willing to go .. ??
That would be terrific on a cholo style Softail. My respect for their quality work but I've no desire for anything that interferes with rapid rear wheel swapouts and this scoot will tend light and narrow. I'm thinking round stainless fender strut, ribbed fender and perhaps an 18" wheel.

The Rivera unit has been taken off their product line ...
(In other words, So sorry Charlie)

                              But ..

                              Ultima has copied it ....

Cover is 2.25" thick .. Comes as a kit with arm included ..
Less than $400 which is bout half of what a Rivera unit was going for ...

Must be a nice unit cause Ultima said they sell out as soon as they get em in .. !!

Shall we jump too and nail one down .. ??

Ooh, that is the full hole ...

Might as well wait on that while I learn a bit more about it. Sales don't mean much since most buyers aren't highly critical of their purchases.

Too bad Baker and Primo quit making them but not being a mechanical necessity now the Denso starter made them obsolete. most buyers just want the shiny.
