    Default 1979 Yamaha XS650 Chop

First time posting here stoked to see so many Japanese bikes still out there kicking! Been working on this build off and on for a year now. Started off with complete stock have added the following:

    - Hardtail kit (Fong Bro Style)
    - Fender
    - Sissy Bar
    - Completely changed the front end to a 2" over narrow springer
    - New 19" mini brake wheel
    - completely new wiring system with Boyer Ignition system.
    - Now just painting small parts to make it look like an old barn find and over the white paint I had done before going to the dark burgundy.

Rock on, welcome to the forum. You've got my absolute favorite back end geometry going on there, great choice of fender. Is that a lapera seat?

I'll second that. XS650's are one of the best chop choices.

Japanese bikes- making cool chops for a long time...
