I'm not sure that would be a good idea since you could get slag inside the lines...... Why not step up and buy quality lines that fit to start with?????

Fuck trying to save money when your motor might be at risk.................

I’d do it close enough to the fitting to get a burr in there. Hell you could purge it, be as pretty on the inside as out. Or buy good lines, but you never know what’s gonna show up in the mail, and waiting sucks.

                          The Earl's fittings that I'm using wasn't a easy install ..
Had to saw off the Oem nipples that the OG oil tank came with and drill/thread for 1/8" NPT ...

Paughco and Drag Specialties also sold those lines. I had a set of the DS ones (new old stock) hanging on the wall for years. (Maybe they are still there?)

I made my own, similar to jesse's, with -6 stuff from the circle track shop by my house. pretty happy with it. Now whether or not you like the look of braided is a whole different story. But, once you cut the fittings and tap the tank, its just putting hoses together. I used 90deg 1/8thNPT to -6AN adapters at the tank so my lines point straight down.

Ok, Tattoo. To answer your question....lines came from "some guy" on Ebay.

Plan was to cut ends going to pump and use hose at that end.

I know a custom flaring tool has to be made to fit Harley nipples. I was aware of cut and tap method of nipple replacement.

So if anyone has working hardlines I would appreciate knowing what the length at the radius is, similar to the pic I posted.
Could very well be bad bends, altho they look very similar to good ones.
