Anyone know of a kicker kit for 1987 883 sportster?
I've looked all over, and I dont even know if it can be done. There's kicker kits for everything in between. Can this be done? Any ideas on how? I'd love a kicker if possible. Any help is greatly appreciated!

V-twin no longer have them. I expect they didn't sell well since the main reason to run one is for looks. Part number for reference:

If you have electric starter problems the stock Denso starters are outstanding and very easy to sort out with a new contact kit and pushbutton end cover. The Densos removed any functional reason for a kicker.
Fake kicker kits exist but I don't keep track of what they fit. IIRC Dragstews posted an impressive fake kit that looks cooler than the functional kickers.

You do know when you add a kicker to an electric start bike your problems are just starting...... A kicker will not start your bike without other changes for the most part...Last edited by Tattooo; 01-20-2019 at 7:18 PM.
