Well, in the UK, 'geezer' means 'a real badass'.

I replied saying I had Lucas 80 90 gear oil. I'll need to see how water could seep in, cause maybe thats what caused that color.

Sorry I didn't see that post... Why so thick of oil?? Was it leaking bad and you thought that would slow it down??

@dragstews - where do ya think I get all the naked girls from? carwash king over here.

@tattooo - I was lead to believe thats what most people use haha. what weight would you recommend? Also - it does leak but very little - not that that had anything to do with the weight i chose haha. I got the good ole standard mainshaft seal leak

90 gear is the same viscosity range as 50W engine oil on the charts.

Are there any good threads on how to install the old witch hat style bearing? I did some searching but couldn't find anything. The parts are in the mail, I'm just trying to prepare for what I can. Does the witch hat stay on the pushrod via a c-clip like the wafer style?

The pushrod sits in the W-H bearing with no clip ... It has it's own seat machined in...
You must use the starter clutch gear that come in the kit ....
It has a diff O.D. from what's on the mainshaft now...

It has a function of centering the W-H bearing to the shaft...
