What is left to do to get this machine running. OK, Here is the list.

Front hydraulic brake light switch.
Then bleed the front brake.
Get battery and make sure all circuits are working.
Waiting for throttle cable.
Roll the motorcycle off of the wood platform.
Attach the air cleaner.
Get mirrors.
Start up ,run and add two quarts of oil.

Thats it.

Thinner seat. It needed taller springs.

4=3/8" x 3=1/2" x 1" This includes the electrical connectors that protrude from one side.

Throttle cable installed.
Today I installed the battery!
All electrical functions worked except the rear brake light. I will get that corrected.
Brake light on front brake works. Both brake light switches are good.

OK... I got that electrical problem solved. Now all functions are solid.
Waiting for air filter bracket and horn. The gas tank is mounted and ready for gas.
Start up is around the corner. It was 106ºF today so I just did not want to do anything.

Speaking of electrical could you tell me the primary wire colors for the front cylinder and rear cylinder coils the schematic doesn't state which one is which i'm installing the Dyna 3000 today and elimanated most of the factory harness

JD64K, You really need the Clymer workshop manual. OK. Thats all I will say about that.
The color wiring diagram is in the back page and is very clear and easy to understand.

One coil has a red wire with black bands and a grey wire.

The other coil has a pink wire and a red wire with black bands going to the other coils red wire with black bands. (Connects the two coils)


The red wire with black bands connects to the engine stop switch on the handlebars.
That red wire with black bands also connects to the relay that is for the fuel pump and starting circuit cut off relay and clutch switch relay.

You do not need the clutch relay or the kickstand switch.
It was for idiots that started the engine while it was in gear and then the bike flew forward into the washing machine in the garage.
The kick stand switch is so that if someone tries to start off with out putting away the kickstand then the engine would quit. Lawsuit stuff.

Today Monday June17th, 2019 I started the motorcycle up! It took some fiddling around before it started to run right.
At first it sounded like it was running on one cylinder. I turned the pilot air screw out more and then it straightened up and started to run better.
I am letting it cool down now. I will start it again with the air filter on and make final adjustments to the idle.
I am waiting for the air filter bottom bracket and bolts which are supposed to arrive today in the mail.
​​​​​​​So the whole build took one year and 15 days approximately.

I'm not a fan of the fat rear tire, but I have to admit you built one fine motorcycle. Bravo, sir, bravo!
I usually don't like accents, but that white on black is just good. Not too much.

The rear tire is only 200mm , very conservative. Some stock motorcycles come with 200mm tires.
