Way cool you working with your old man on it. My Dad helped me drop a 302 Ford into a 1956 Austin Healey that was a great project. I wish he had lived long enough to work together on more projects.
My kids have zero interest in cars or bikes, so I am pinning my hopes on either my youngest marrying a motor head or my grandson! ( I think I have a better shot with him ).
Really like where you took the bike, nice realization of your vision.

Could never get the stock CV carb to run right so i said fuck it and bought an S&S Super E. Paired it with a Mooneyes spun cleaner
Me and the old man decided to polish up the jugs and heads, looks much cleaner than the black.
Biggest change was literally the whole fucking front end.
Mullins narrow trees, polished them up.
CT Newman headlight
OLD STF adjustable rabbits
Prism Super throttle
went 8 over on the forks (was 6 over)
had a buddy of mine shave down my Lowbrow tapers lowers for tire clearance, then polished them
had Buchanan build me a new front wheel with a narrower hub, old hub was a pube too wide.
