the sissy bar. I ditched that idea & went back to standard fender struts.

If this was my bike I would lose the swingarm mounted fender & also ditch that sprung
seat, It's a softail, you don't need springs on the seat.

    tank looks good
Good to know about the risks of that set up, but I'm not too concerned about it right now, don't plan to strap anything too heavy back there anyway, I'll just use some friends bike for hauling. The seat is actually mounted solid, spring are there for purely looks, but I'm gonna get rid of that anyways because the guy messed up the height of the seat.

Finally got the bike back today and went for a short ride around town, feels solid and sounds awesome, definitely a eye catcher in traffic. Gonna go for a longer ride on the weekend, far too cold right now with 7 degrees C during the day

That leaf work looks killer. Sets the whole thing off.

At it again, this time going for a two seater, hopefully with a proper king and queen seat, also thinking about lowering the front. Handlebars will be changed for a taller pair. Old fender and bars will go onto a hardtail Ironhead I managed to grab away, separate thread coming soon

Bike is looking cool. Wondering if that fender is sitting too high and short for a king and queen seat?

That's just a quick mock up right now, wanted to see how the fender actually fits

Got a pretty decent king and queen with the Ironhead, needs a bit massaging here and there, but easier than starting from scratch I guess

I bought a 1994 softail heritage classic last year to run as a daily rider as my rigid ironhead just isn't a great mile muncher.
I ended up riding it for about 3 months in full bagger mode and then started "experimenting".... this is how it currently looks
