    The Daily Panshovel from italy

    Hi everybody

I'm Alberto from Italy, i have been a long time lurker on this website, expecially in the build/classified section.
I'm not a professiona bike guy but whenever i have free time i spend it in my garage expecially during the weekends building car n bikes.
So in the end i decided to star my own thread because i really enjoy this comunity anyway here is my last project an ol ironhead.

But a few month ago i come across a good engine for a new build and decided to buy it.
So here i am with a panshovel more or less all oem ( that is actually a frankenstain of an engine ) ready for a new project

Can't go wrong there. What year cases? And also curious what a 'good deal' is over there, with the Lira or Euro to USD worked out. That Ironhead is kinda cool too, paint reminds me of a Colnago I used to have..

sisi ci siamo, ben nascosti ma ci siamo.

thanks man, for the panshovel the idea is to do a little japan style bobber for everyday use and maybe some hill climb.
              let's see.

                Your case is 1950, 51 or 52

53 went to hyd liffters in the tappets, case casting was changed
Take my 45 and outrun em all ..

so with the help of ratbike from como we sourced a hardtail frame to start playing dressing up.

time passing bye and i have the frame and the other parts painted as i wanted, so its time for the final assemble

i just love to search around the web for hard to find ( at least in italy ) parts.

the last tune up and i'm ready for the first ride.

Probably electro-interference from your rear antennae.
I like the Invader with a brake.

                            little to no progress

So after some problem with the magneto i went back to the classical ignition.
things went pretty smooth. and the second test ride was pretty problem free.

a and i also made this little cover, since now that i have to run a battery i wanted to hide it.
