I think you have proven yourself worthy enough for invitation to any build-off......... Hell, you deserve your on TV show. None of the other shows hold a candle to what I have seen in this thread.

I had mixed thoughts on your front end. The fabricator side of my head was and remains truly awed by your skill. The artistic side was disappointed with the design of your front end. It just looked too "steam punk" and not "chopper." That is until you posted that pick of the rolling frame mock up. For some reason, when you put it together it just worked. It truly is functional art. Most excellent build sir. Outstanding!

This is so well executed! Did you do your own modeling and 3D printing? Well Done and keep the photos coming! If I had any skin in the game you'd have my vote for Born Free.

Thanks. I do all the design work and modelling, I do not do the printing or the actual casting.

I always appreciate criticism. I had the same feeling too when I was designing it. A little too steampunk. But when I had it in my hands I knew it was going to look good.

Also, design-wise I really think that second neck casting looks MUCH better than the first. A good iteration, especially losing the visual mass on the lower half and smoothing it out (to my eye).

Can you run through your oil routing scheme? I am trying to make it out in the pics and I *think* i can follow along, but not quite... Is there routing/chambering built into the castings?

I didn't have a die big enough to put an 8" CLR radius bend on some 3/4 X .120 wall 316. I even called pro tools and the biggest die they can make is 7" CLR. The first person to quote this sentence and include your paypal address I’ll send 5 dollars to because I don’t think anyone actually reads it.
Keep the five bucks and post more fabrication porn!
