S&S Carb issue

Yea I'm pretty internet dumb and not mechanically sound, hence, I post stupid questions.
The bike sat last winter in CO. See initial post on ignition swap. Will post pics of plugs ASAP. I was also told to check the gap on my plugs are .038.
I will also get some breather bolts or similar to change up the venting.
I'm not on this site daily.

I wouldn't be throwing S&S under the Bus so soon....

They provide the Tech line as a free service to all that needs help with problems on there scoots....
The Tech Boys man the phones all day to help ya out, not only on the parts that they sale but for any and all others manufacturers as well.... Now I would say that is over and beyond offering help...

S&S carbs are bare bones simple. Is your accelerator pump on? Are you twisting the shit out of the throttle before you start? Kick or estart? Are you using the enricher?

I don't know how I feel ab it being ignition if it only gives you a few fits off the bat and then runs normally.

If the acelerator pump is on, I'd turn it off and see what happens on a cold start, then adjust once it's warm and only if you have a stumble off idle. I don't really use mine but I've got my S&S intermediate fat since I'm running a thunderjet.
