    Yamaha vstar carb hose?

    02 Yamaha v star 650.

cleaned out the carburetor and as I installed back and got it running I realize there's gas leaking out of somewhere. figured out its one of the hose in the middle of the carbs that plugs into a metal part that has a small hole on the other side. It doesn't seem to go anywhere as the hole doesn't have enough space to have a hose or screw on it. It's sticking out enough to where I think it's supposed to have a rubber stop or something to prevent it from leaking gas.

    Can anyone confirm?

Pics uploading in a bit to show exactly.

    Thanks guys.

Figured it out. It's the carburator vent hose. Something must be off in the carb. Yay carbs!! 😒

I had the same problem with mine, figured out it had a partially blocked primary jet that was causing the issue
