What's the best type of luggage for sissy bar or handlebar mount?

Although probably completely uncool I love my Wolfman bags

Strong - keeps everything dry - easy to use (no zips etc etc etc)

Bitch bar mount good. Hanging shit off handlebar highly questionable so I don't do it.

Milsurp packs and bags work well. I drench them with Scotchgard every few years. My sleeping bag lives in a trash bag inside any bag or pack I use. If going long distance I pack a dufflebag solid and use it for a back rest. I use cargo straps to lock shit down hard and to hang my hammock. (I love my hammocks with rain fly or tarp and to hell with tents. When it rains I'm above it all while my bros tents flood or blow over. With my bottom entry Hennessey I don't have to leave to take a piss. )

I have a military sack that I got for cheap that I strap to my sissy bar. A couple bungies and a pillow in a garbage bag in front of it and it makes a pretty good backrest too.

I dont do any handlebar storage, but one of my buddies just got the Biltwell EXFIL-7 bag and it is pretty sweet.

            a good backpacking pack.
old configuration of my bike, but the pack slides right onto the sissybar and the sleeping pad/tent act as a back rest.

You only strap anything with any bulk to your handle bars and travel at speed once then soon work out its a shitty idea

Personally anything that inst waterproof will ultimately let you down when you least need it to

I've got a Saddlemen Fastback....not particularly cheap, but it's solid, functions as a backrest, opens from the sides, has a bunch of d-rings and straps on the top for sleeping bags and whatnot
