Default What would you call this style of seat/fender?

"Solo cafe' with integral wrap around fender"?
    "Tracke'"? Pronounced "track-ay"
    "Speed liner bucket seat"?
    "Crazy Kong"?
    "Race shitter"?

Was trying to search up images of examples 'cause I want to build one for the next project, buy don't know what to call it.

Sticker looks like ass. Fender might work OK plain on a cafe bike but the number plate remains an affectation.

I wasn't asking for comments from the peanut gallery. Would the old farts please sit down.
On whatever style seat they find most esthetically pleasing.

I too think the numberplate is a little much, but I obviously dig what's been done with the fender/seat.

If anybody has any constructive input....

It's not really a specific type. Dirt bike plastics sometimes resembled it but I've never heard a specific name for them. Each maker called their parts whatever they felt like.

I suggest general searching of British cafe bikes and just do it by eyeball.

I would call it a 1/4 mile seat....

Cause I wouldn't want to sit in it for any longer than 10 seconds.....!!!!

Ok Sky.... I just thought of where I have seen that seat........... Well it was just like that without the ugly number plate.... When Jockey Journal was still a cool place to be there was a bike in the Japanese bike thread that had that exact style seat.... It had spoke mags I think............ A damn good looking bike...... I wish I could help you more.........

Call up Noise Cycle and ask Scott? I dont know what its called, but i dig that look too! He has a few bikes with that seat/fender all molded into one. T-Bone will shoot you in the right direction.

SKY I think this is the one

    http://www.jockeyjournal.com/forum/s...ad.php?t=97524

Kevin TEACH Baas made a similar rear for his BF bike a year or two ago - think it was an 80" UL

That bike is fucking beautiful. Might not be the absolute most comfortable/practical, but what the fuck really is on CC?

Sky here's a few pics of my little Honda with another slight derivation to the theme of tracker/cafe cross over which is about the best way I can describe it

not sure there is a trminolagy for that style seat.
it's been used in drag racing and bonneville type flat out racing.and the cool jap builders have used it plenty. and a handfull of guys in the US have made it look cool on street bikes..like baas was mentioned.
i wouldnt call it a track bike or "street tracker" style seat(sorry pete)
i'd say that style seat would be similar to a "bum stop" seat on a cafe racer, but....your talking/asking about this style seat on a rigid chop..

maybe you or someone(not me 'cause i dont care) should name it and copyright the name and laugh all the way to the bank!
maybe call it a cheek keeper.
