Generator shovelhead wacky stance long bike

Howdy, my name is Max. I'm 19 years old and I live in Salt Lake City. With age comes knowledge- that being said I lack age and therefore some of knowledge that comes with it. I figured that as I start to button my bike up I could use some help. I'll start by updating you on the project so far.

All of the parts came together over the last year, through Chop Cult, Chopper Swapper and local guys helping me out. I can't thank Andy at Pangea Speed, Greg at Regatta Garage and Rick White at Dirty Rat enough for the help so far with parts and knowledge to get where I'm at so far.

The frame is a 1948 Pan frame that had some work done to it back in the day. Honestly pretty sure that the frame will break on me one day- especially with the stress I'm putting on it.

The motor is an 84" stroker 1969 Shovel with cal products left case. Running a Super B right now, but hoping to upgrade to an E. My Trans is a ratchet top four. These are joined by a BDL belt drive set up and a Rivera Primo Pro Clutch. (I'd like to hear input on diaphrams and foot clutch relations)

My front end is 20 something over. It's pretty goofy and I haven't had any luck identifying it. Some say fury, some say century. Seems to be some sort of home job, welds look solid though.

I plan on having this bike in the Salt Bike Revival show in September. Then riding somewhere far away from Utah for 3-4 weeks.

    Dude!
This for sure is wacky...I wouldn't have the balls to ride it haha
Flip them rockers so you will decrease trail and lower the front a bit, did you ever do the geometry math?

Don't think you will get to grow old riding that bike.... Need more rake or a shorter fork....

And your left motor case is a Cal-Products "Bonneville" ...

That looks like a 38-40 degree-ish rake. If your front end is 20" over, you could probably find one thats around 10 over that'll do the job. I mean, go ahead and do your measurements and how long you want that front end will depend on how much you like the stance. The rockers are inverted, too.

Come on Tattoo you haven't asked how its going to be titled

A carb upgrade as you describe wouldn't be to another S&S but to a CV

PLEASE sort out that front end - you are too young to die - no you are not being cool running it as is - just stupid

yo man that thing is killer, dont change a thing. The only thing I would do is run different oil lines. If you run them like that with the motor tipped like that your probably going to starve the front head for oil. Y or T your lines somewhere so you have equal oiling to each head.

                        Well Guys....

I'm hopping that maxd22 is not thin skinned and can handle a bit of .....

                        .... "Constructive Criticism" ....
Is the process of offering valid and well-reasoned opinions about the work of others, usually involving both positive and negative comments, in a friendly manner rather than an oppositional one. The purpose of 'constructive criticism is to improve the outcome.

Kinda like to see the finish build, no matter which way he goes....

                        Stick around maxd22
(But I'm not going to use your photo as a pin-up.. You can forget that shit .. !!)

You was compared to a Buddy of mine that I sent a photo of the bike too....

                            His words:
"This Set Up Is Guaranteed To Put You In The DITCH. There Is No Way This Should Ever Be On The Road. The Front End Is WAY To Long & You Probably Couldn't Put Enough Rake In It To Be Rideable. You Would Need A Shopping Center Parking Lot To Turn It Around. A Shorter Front End is Needed To Get The Motor Somewhere Near Level. Got A Really Nice Motor But That's About All. This Is The Way It Is, Should Come With A Coffin & A Grave Site."

Are the rear legs solid or hollow? Id start by taking 10" off the bottom of the legs and flip the rockers.

Can I request a side pic without the front wheel, and the legs sitting right on the floor?
