Howdy, my name is Max. I'm 19 years old and I live in Salt Lake City. With age comes knowledge- that being said I lack age and therefore some of knowledge that comes with it. I figured that as I start to button my bike up I could use some help. I'll start by updating you on the project so far.
All of the parts came together over the last year, through Chop Cult, Chopper Swapper and local guys helping me out. I can't thank Andy at Pangea Speed, Greg at Regatta Garage and Rick White at Dirty Rat enough for the help so far with parts and knowledge to get where I'm at so far.
The frame is a 1948 Pan frame that had some work done to it back in the day. Honestly pretty sure that the frame will break on me one day- especially with the stress I'm putting on it.
The motor is an 84" stroker 1969 Shovel with cal products left case. Running a Super B right now, but hoping to upgrade to an E. My Trans is a ratchet top four. These are joined by a BDL belt drive set up and a Rivera Primo Pro Clutch. (I'd like to hear input on diaphrams and foot clutch relations)
My front end is 20 something over. It's pretty goofy and I haven't had any luck identifying it. Some say fury, some say century. Seems to be some sort of home job, welds look solid though.
I plan on having this bike in the Salt Bike Revival show in September. Then riding somewhere far away from Utah for 3-4 weeks.
