I think you should go back to how it sat when you got it, low and fat.
Use those repop tins to put a cool paint job on them, you can ship them anywhere for paint

Haven't read the entire thread, but from just looking at the opening pic, I if bought the bike, here is what I would change.

Lose the knobby tire on front.

      Different handlebars and grips.

Put the forks back to stock. (have always hadthe opinion, go full chopper or not at all) (My basic definition of a chopper is long front and hardtail frame)

Change the king and queen seat.

      Lose the chrome battery box.....

Your bike though and that is ALL that counts.

              Thanks!

Here are some more shots. The tanks are definitely a big step in the right direction.

              Upcoming plans:
              - Black Superglide rear fender
              - Biltwell Chumps with internal wiring
              - Front end change: either current setup but with 3 degree cups or ditch it all and go with a Wide Glide

I second that. I like the forks on it. The chumps should look good on there too. Maybe move the turn signals tho? Either lower down or even on the frame level with the rear signals. The bikes looking super good tho man! I'd ride that thing.

                    Hey guys,

Been awhile since I posted back. Done a few changes since.

I installed the Biltwell Chumps. Much better look and control. I have a new harness to install since the current one has been messed with way too much with splices etc. I will clean up the wiring there.

Finished installing the superglide style rear fender. Loving the new look. Waiting on a sissy bar to arrive.

Seat looks kinda dorky but its super comfy for 2 up.

I decided not to go wide glide and keep my narrow glide. I'm thinking about going with an AMF era black 9 spoke 19" mag up front.

                      Hey Gary
yeah keep that seat if you`r doing 2up riding, i believe you it`s comfy. Looks a bit like that one FXR Superglide seat, just beefier.
I will never get longer forks while maintaining steering angle and raise the frame, but i get it that is your thing. I like how you improved her - keep the pictures coming.
So you will keep the gold chicken on the battery, huh ?

I am still considering doing some raked cups for a little winter project. Not sure how noticable it will be but maybe worth a shot.

Haha yea for now the birdie stays.

Hey, I'm interested in seeing a close up of your kickstand I need to do something similar.

                          Thanks!

Liked it with the sissy bar ! I think that you need one to compliment the FXR seat, and I really like the longer forks. Keep up the good work man...b.

That kickstand I bought on ebay. It was listed as a kickstand for 2-4" overstock front ends. My bike is 4" over. With the kickstand alone it still had too much lean for my liking. That block I bought and installed to give it that extra bit of length. Perfect now.

Anything more than 4" I'd say you'd have to either heat/bend the kickstand or cut and add length.
