Will an S&S 1200cc Big Bore Kit Fit an 883cc Stock Frame?

Does anybody know if I put an S&S 1200cc big bore kit on '09 Sporty 883, will it still fit in the stock frame? Frame mods aren't in the cards quite yet, but I'm assuming it will because S&S doesn't say it won't. Just wanted to ask around from some of y'all with experience!

yeah thatll fit with out any issues with your frame.. however if you read lower youll see the the fins on your year motor are different so in my opinion it looks sort of goofy. Id get a hammer performance 1250 kit instead. has the 04+ option fins, and I think their pretty similar in price

Awesome good to know! S&S also says that '04+ heads, while they fit, don't quite match up with their jugs, so I'll definitely check out what Hammer Performance has to offer! Thanks

Massive info on 1200 choices in the xlforum. They have a section for that.

Another vote for Hammer Performance. They're incredibly knowledgeable and I believe quite a bit cheaper than S&S. They also knock 10% off the price if you're an XL Forum member.
