On a serious njote, I do somewhat have a dog in the fight when it comes to what happened in France. One of the people killed was a friend of mine, Nohemi. A student studying in France as part of a student exchange program. She was a local from Southern California (El MOnte) and attended CSULB... She would frequent my work on occasion, and I always remembered her face and name.. Awesome, intelligent girl with a friendly personality.. She's dead now, for no actual reason... It wasn't just the French that were killed, but people of all nationalities that were in France. They didn't attack military personnel or military installations.. They attack a crowd at an Eagles Of Death Metal concert (Those guys are also locals from Palm Desert), a crowd at a fucking cafe, and a crowd at a soccer game... They did some cowardly ass pussy bullshit on people they knew couldn't defend themselves..

The French government announced yesterday that it has raised its terror alert level from "Run" to "Hide". The only two higher levels in France are "Collaborate" and "Surrender." The rise was precipitated by a recent fire that destroyed France's white flag factory, effectively paralyzing the country's military capability.
