Yeah those Simpson buckets are wicked looking, I've been coveting them for a long while, but I'm not real big on full face helmets, I'll even run my crappy Bell at 4:30 in the morning when there's a light rain. Course I also have a Canadian Forces issue Balaclava that is warm even if it's soaking wet.Comment

Its fine as long as you are looking straight ahead. Gets a little push on it when you look to change lanes. But I'm used to it now and don't even notice it that much.
Medium fits my head perfect, but is a little tight in the cheeks. Ordered s set of large cheek pads, so that should take care of that.
SIzing is identical to the Scorpion I had, too.Comment

Little more testing for lift issues on my ride in from work. None. I tried to make it lift by tilting my head back and never really got it to pull at all. This was going about 80.
But like I said, turning your head, it's like putting a parachute out. Myabe I should get another mirror.
Lemme talk to the guy I got mine from and see what he will sell them for. I paid *well* below retail for mine, but we are good friends. Maybe I can get a group buy together or something.Comment

So I rode my V-Strom this weekend with my Fox MX helmet. It actually felt as if there was less head 'buffeting" than with my Shoei full face.
There was no pull/lift at higher speeds, and it was quite comfortable. This may be my go to helmet from now on..Comment
