What I don't understand is, the school & movie theater shootings, fucking 20 years ago, I had to walk through a metal detector everyday to enter my school, there was one at every main entry, secondary entries were fucking chained shut. And there were 2 police officers on school property during school hours...so, why all these school shootings all of a sudden. It seems to me that there has been a relaxed approach, or total lack of school security over the past 20 years.
Movie houses, same damn thing...You'd think after the first horrific tragedy in the movie theater, movie theatre companies would have increased the security (metal detectors w/ armed guards) at their points of entry to ensure the safety of their patrons. But of course, having to hire a security company and purchase a bunch of metal detectors, would cut into their $18.50 ticket price profit.
To keep this post relevant to the thread, (like I really give two shits); I'm just going to write HOFFA across my ballot, with a red Sharpie. Because who the fuck could run an organized crime ring such as the "U.S.A." better than a mob boss?
...I would suggest you do the same, and convince everyone you know to do the same as well.Last edited by Knuckleduster; 07-24-2015 at 8:43 PM.

They have not done this because it would be fucking stupid. It will not ensure the safety of anybody inside the theater. The only thing it would ensure is that the people going in and out of the theater will be unarmed and easy prey for muggings, and muggings are a hell of a lot more common than theater shootings. It would also leave the parking lot a prime target for vehicle break ins because thieves would be hoping to find guns that were left behind by people going watching movies.

Believing criminals will respect gun laws is a whole other level of stupid.
Yet despite a growing body count there is still a loud segment of citizens and politicians that continues to believe that more laws is the solution. Murder is perhaps the greatest taboo codified into our laws and I'm to believe that an individual intent on violating that law would be deterred from committing murder because they would also have to commit the considerable lesser offense of weapon possession? Some people are just not in possession of a quality thinking organ............."The emptiest wagon makes the most noise".Last edited by Tacitus; 07-25-2015 at 11:10 PM.

In my neck of the woods everyone owns guns. It's the country, I'm not sure there is a household anywhere around that has no guns. I've never even heard of a breaking and entering here. Violent crime outside of domestic violence is almost unheard of. Wanna know why? Because the criminals know everyone is armed. If you knew there was potentially a load of double ought buckshot pointing at you every time you crossed someone's property would you still want to break in for a few dollars? I think not. The old adage "if guns are outlawed only outlaws will have guns" is true as ever. A world where the criminals and government are armed but not the citizens is a world where all civilians are victims.

I think you mean; he got into office with the intention of trying to do better for people,
however, we all know that the road to hell, is paved with good intentions!
The mutherfucker is flaker than a croisant. Watch out gun lovers, he made it pretty clear he will be working on "firearm reform" over the course of his last 18 mo., After repeatedly saying he wasn't going to, flip floppy mutherfucker, just like the majority of the other presidents before him, and most likely everyone after him.Last edited by Grantman; 07-26-2015 at 3:17 PM.

I do! That's one of the great things about America. Then some dumbass politicians decide they know whats best for everyone, from the wilds of Alaska to downtown Chicago, all must follow the same rules. They need to get a grip and some grey matter. Restrictions on firearms=higher crime rates. Not one study EVER, has shown a decrease in crime AFTER stronger gun restrictions have gone into effect.

That's pretty much my sentiment. If Dear Leader wants my guns, all he has to do is come and get them and I'll give them to him, one bullet at a time. I'm prepared to die to protect my rights; I hope he's prepared to die trying to take them.

Yep. My family has served in the USMC since December 1775, and there are some of our family buried all over the world. If I did any less than die to protect our rights it would make every one of their deaths in vain. I will not be the one to dishonor our family, or the Corps. Semper Fi!

But here's my great Grandfather during the Great War, 1917.
Heart breaker and life taker.

Such a cool photo. What unit did the 99 on his cover denote? Also this photo reminds me of the movie legends of the fall when Brad Pitt was scalping his enemies in WW1.

At the time, racism towards Native Americans were pretty fierce. I was told he was in a unit with only “Indians”. So it may be that. But it's super hard to research.
His son, my grandfather was also full blood. He was chased home from school and called “nigger” a lot. His father told him, “If you let those white boys chase you home one more time, I’m going to whoop your ass.”
My grandfather then became a scrappy little beast. He joined the First American Volunteer Group before our war with Japan broke out. Was with the Flying Tigers in China then got integrated into the Army Air Corps when we(USA) decided to kill bodies.
I’ve got a sick picture of him in a P40 Warhawk.
