Former President Donald Trump truly is his own worst enemy. All he has to do is open his mouth, and laws get broken, indictments start flowing, evidence builds, and criminal cases are shored up.
His most recent gaffe took place in Perry, Georgia, last month, when during a rally, he went after his arch-nemesis Gov. Brian Kemp for refusing to overturn his presidential loss to President Joe Biden. Now the Brookings Institution has updated its report to include some extremely damning comments Trump made in his vitriolic speech.
During the rally, Trump twice said he’d asked Kemp to call a “special election” in order to decertify his defeat in Georgia.
“I said, ‘Brian, listen, you have a big election integrity problem in Georgia. I hope you can help us out and call a special election and let’s get to the bottom of it for the good of the country,’” Trump said.
The report highlights Trump’s “special election” comments as a new piece of evidence for investigators, one that according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution could reflect the concept that Trump could have declared martial law in order to strong-arm states to hold new elections.
Trump’s comments are just another piece of evidence in the Fulton County’s district attorney’s office arsenal, as they build their criminal probe to prove election fraud.
“If he’s prosecuted, I’d be very surprised if that tape of him talking about the Kemp conversation does not end up being played at trial,” Norman Eisen, special counsel to House Democrats during Trump’s first impeachment trial, tells the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
The new report lists Trump’s possible charges as criminal solicitation to commit election fraud; interference with an election; racketeering; making a false statement, and destroying, defacing, or removing ballots.
Additionally, the report focuses on the infamous phone call between Trump and Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger, where the president tried to bully Raffensperger to “find” enough votes to turn over his loss to Biden, as first reported by The Washington Post.
Trump’s camp is attempting to defend the former president, saying that he didn’t mean what he said at the Perry rally. He meant “special session,” not “special election.” (Trump said “special election” not once, but twice.)
“I’ve been doing criminal law now for over 30 years. I’ve gone after the bad guys and defended the wrongly accused,” Eisen told the AJC. “And the No. 1 rule is if you’re under investigation keep your mouth shut. By coming to Georgia and talking about these events, the former president has deepened his potential risk.”

The anti-Biden chant continued its tour of the country this weekend as Ole Miss fans broke out in a thunderous chant of “F*ck Joe Biden” during Saturday’s game against the Arkansas Razorbacks.
The now common chant accompanied by a series of claps between shouts broke out among hundreds of fans at Vaught Hemingway Stadium as the Rebels squeaked out a 52 to 51 victory over the Razorbacks.
...lol

Trump became America's least popular president and managed to bring the country to ruin in three years. It seems to me that the president should be a person who is initially a patriot and has a pronounced civil position. Not so long ago I went go to this site and read a lot of new information for myself from essays on I Have a Dream - the famous speech of Martin Luther King. It would be interesting to see him or people like him in power. Did anything change then and how would the people react to it?

And it definitely worse than trying to look into Ukrainian corruption!
That dude is one bad actor.
Maybe he doesn't like Brad after the Washington Post misquoted him using someone who claimed to have overheard a "damning" phone conversation with him and Brad, and Brad just let them rum with it knowing it was bullshit. What great ethics for a guy in his position.

Let's go Brandon!
The greatest thing Trump did was scare the crap out of the establishment and show us all just how corrupt our government and mainstream media really are.
The second greatest thing Trump did was to take up permanent residence in the skulls of snowflakes everywhere. Even now, after being out of the White House for over a year, he still has them rolling up their eyes, foaming at the mouth, and gnawing at their own livers. I'm loving every second of it.

Still say Trump is closest thing to a biker mentality of all time re elected assholes. At least he told allot of what was going on via twitter rants. Now we have a quiet diddering twit obviously doing little re campaign promises and obviously being willingly led by the nose by those around and above him. Only diff from a biker is Trump avoided fights. To me he's an admitted chicken shit. No issue with this if it prevents useless deaths of our soldiers. I hate tough-talking politicians that push for war with lies yet never fought and protect their kiddies from it.

Perhaps you are young and are thinking of 'motorcycle rider' or perhaps 'motorbike enthusiast'. Or maybe the term 'biker' has changed. Taken over by the tough talking snowflake/hipster types as a way to impress the ladies.
Funny story. Caught a pretty-boy guy riddled with tattoo in our work can and asked him WTF he was doing at the sink? He had a jar of some perfume smelly stuff smearing it all over his face. "Exfoliating" he says. I couldn't believe it. If things went down he wouldn't be someone I'd hope for in my corner. Not a 'biker-type' in my view.
