Well, not done forever, but done for this season. I've always loved the patina of old farm trucks, so that was kind of my inspiration for the tank. Also wanted the bike to look like I have been riding it for the last 20 years, so nothing very shiny. Next things to work on: Vintage tires, shave the front legs, make a sissy bar, smaller seat with a p pad, paint the motor, maybe a single carb. I made the (dual carb) intakes out of stainless steel sauce pans.

I agree with Frost, it seems waay too big and fat for the rest of this lovely project!

You made it look amazing, this is just my suggestion, but getting a Ford style fender for the back and painting it with the same patina style would complete this bike perfectly!

Thanks gents! Wow, I can't believe it's been over 2 years.
I sold Vingo to a friend of mine so I could start another build. Dumb photobucket blocked all my pics. Here's a pic after getting back from a 5 day ride/camp/party trip (Run 4 Your Life).

Yeah screw photobucket man, I just read through your whole thread squinting through those blurry pics trying to imagine what they looked like.
For the record, it looked like a beautiful build.
