Default New Year, New Bike - Amen Savior CB750

I'm pretty much at a stand still with my KZ build. Stuck in limbo awaiting a hard tail.

I found this Amen Savior and got a good deal on it so I just couldn't pass it up.

Runs solid and starts on the first kick. Not bad for a bike that was sitting for a year and a half.

The carbs needed a little love but it wasn't anything a little carb cleaner couldn't fix.

Really all I plan on keeping is the motor and frame. I'm not attached to anything else

Willing to give up: Newly painted black striped tank & fender combo, bars, front end, front wheel, risers, solo seat with springs, Vintage Santee exhaust, tail light

If you see something you like shoot me a PM or reply to this and let me know what you want with an offer.

I'm open to trades for certain items. Preferably a Shorter springer, 19"-21" front wheel, ribbed tank (GME or Amen Savior)

I'd slide right off the back a that thing. Love those frames though.

I wish that was my issue. I'm shorter so I need the shorter front end to level it out. When I picked it up as it was in the first picture I had to tip-toe with one foot.

After I took that giant solo seat off I sit pretty nice but with a seat back on it I'm sure I'll be balancing a bit again.

Might have a shorter twisted springer lined up though. Hope that goes through!

It's about 4" shorter and a bit narrower than the square tube springer.

Now I can run a bigger wheel, I'm aiming for a 21". I figure that should level the bike out a good bit for my short ass legs.

Now I'm on the hunt for a ribbed tank. Amen or GME preferably but this one ain't half bad either. http://www.cyclexchange.net/Fuel%20P...red%201.fw.jpg

There's the Nor-Cal cycle swap here this Sunday so if you've got one bring it down so I can take it off your hands!

Mounted up the springer after my buddy cut off the spacer with the Dremel.
The spacer kept the bearing from sitting low enough on the springer.
The head tube on the Amen frames are forever long.

Now somebody buy the tank, fender, exhaust, bars, and seat!

I'll be at the Nor-Cal cycle swap on Sunday if you want to check it all out in person and avoid the shipping.

you got something man, you do want the front a couple of inches higher but agreed, it was too high, I would drop that seat back some however
that mini drum front is a POS IMO, I had one and it wouldnt stop shit, you said you were getting another wheel anyway

    Thanks guys!

The front wheel that's in is probably what I'll run until I find something I really like. The drum doesn't have any innards right now anyways. New bearings and I'm gonna rip it as is for a bit.

Other than that, I came away with some bitchin' swap finds.

GME Ribbed Tank. A little rust on the inside but the outside is straight as all hell. Not a dent!
We'll see how long that lasts.
