I want to see some choppers with girders!

I just purchased an original durfee 12 over girder for my sportster, as this is my first build and you dont see many girders, I wanted to get some inspiration from the cult! So, if you have any photos you can post of your bike or just cool chops with a girder, Id appreciate it.

    Thanks everyone!

You buy that bent one on ebay? I have never liked the look of long front ends on stock frames. Kicks up the front end to much for my taste. Someone said they had an 8 over on his and it handled like shit. I have a 10 over P&P that I was going to run on my chopped frame, but after I got my angles and stretches all worked out, the 10 is going to be to short I am going to need a 12 or maybe ever 14 over, will figure out after I decide on a 19 or 21 front wheel.

You bought a front end before you know if you like the way it looks or not?? Or even know what one looks like on a bike???

nice but sure its 12 over?? All the P&P I have seen, including mine are 10 over, how far is it from your axle to your top leg pivot nut? Also why did you space your upper tree so your upper and lower links are not parallel?

Yeah, she might be +10. I was kinda guessing. The front end is just mocked up currently, I have all new bearings and races and spacers. I'm going to take the top spacer out. Currently she's in the more raked position but I may move the bottom tree to the De-raked hole.

Doesn't ride bad at all. Certainly not a canyon carver but a nice chopper ride. Rear suspension is one step up from a rigid with a 5.00 X 16 with 12 lbs of air.
