Fork Braces
Looking for a brace that mounts on the fender tabs... I think Roland Sands makes one. So how about an AFFORDABLE one?
Any leads? I know I've seen them, I'm just not smart enough to use these webbernets correctly tonight.
and on that note... how about some cool fork brace pictures? Give me some idears.

Go to Lick's page. Click on forks. They have some in there. $40 or $50. raw or chrome, speed holes or solid. Ordering my self one end of the month.

Here ya go. Looks like they may be out of the one with "Speed Holes". Guess that's why they sell drill bits!!!

it definatly makes a difference with a single disk. It stops the twist as good or better than a fender.

Here's one I'm working on.
It's an old 70's dirt bike brace. I had my buddy alum weld the holes up, I grounded them smooth, and re-drilled to accommodate the fender tabs. I still need to finish filing and sanding, and maybe speed hole and chrome....? Don't know yet.

i dig that - similar to chopperdaves rig that was at hoedown too - I think im changing mine to somethign similar - but working with the midglide fork fender mounts are a lil tricky.
lotta good examples here so far!
I am running one I bent and drilled outta flat stock - ill post a pic when i get home tonight

glad this thread got started. MY kz1000 get a little loose up front at high speeds with no front fender so this was my quick fix till i make me a better one. Stock fender cut down(its pretty sturdy)
