Looks like it belongs to Bobbed883. Sent him a pm to see if we can get him here to answer some questions. I think that thing looks cool, too. Enough to be cleaned up and not overdone.

OK, at the risk of sounding like the dumbass, what's a gaiter?

                  Thanks for the props guys!

Joey was 100% correct, unless I'm forgetting something too.

                  It's a 1994 883 wiith a 1200 kit. Needed a lot of work when I got it but here's a rundown of the visual changes I made.

Cheap ($70) wrapped pipes - these will be changed as soon as I can get some smooth dude from this forum to weld me up a 2into1 with a trumpet on the end.

Lowered with blocks but now has black 10.5" shocks on it - the blocks made it feel sketchy in the twisties, but maybe that was all in my head.

Z-Bars from Licks Cycles - I think they advertise here, great company to order from. ...though I really want the $190 T-Bars that are in the Classifieds section right now, just think 200 bones is too 'spensive. Again, maybe I can get someone to fab me some for half that?

Cheapo Bar-End mirrors off ebay - actually put them on both my bikes, one of my favorite details.

Cut the fenders with the mighty dremel tool.

Sparto tail light off ebay (or maybe Licks again, I forget).

Lepera Bare Bones seat I think, bought it off some dude on ebay.

Fork gaiters or Slinkys, whatever you wanna cal them - they came from ebay too.

And a super cheap rattlecan paint job!

This is the only other pic I have right now. I've actually changed a few things since the pic, I removed the ugly ass air cleaner for a round black one and I added the black 10.5 shocks in the rear.

Ed, this is the route your gonna take when building the bike for your daughter?

Check with Deep Six Cycles, make some pretty sick bars. Nice bike.

Do the rear shocks work well at that angle? That bike has a really nice profile for a non-hardtailed sporty...

                          Thanks man.

The shocks worked ok as far as absorbing the bumps and what not but I think the lowering blocks were a little sketchy and maybe uneven so I've since changed the shocks to some 10.5" black ones.

Does it still sit the same with the new shocks? Do you have some new pictures?

I think it sits the same, or very close to the same at least. No new pics but I'll take some today if I get a chance.
