- Switching to dual carbs on a CB750. Thoughts??

Old thread I know but looking at ideas for a dual carb setup on my amen savior frame as well... Still have time before I commit one way or the other.. Did you guys get or find something that worked out?

Im going to eventually get the CycleX kit I think for my DOHC. They said it will work with my AMEN Hardtail frame and the DOHC motor. I am sick of dealing with the stupid CV carbs. When im going to get it, im not sure. Due to a locked up motor this fall, it might not be in the budget for a bit.Gotta get the motor rebuilt or find a whole new motor. Leaning towards the different motor part.

Different motor makes sense as they are reasonably common and those engines aren't cheap to rebuild. I'd look for a complete donor.

these twin carb st ups work great on my newly rebuilt cb750 motor on my cb750 chopper. but i know if the engine has worn cylinders which cause different vacuum ratings then they will not work.
