About damn time they came out with a bike to properly compete with the imports! If anyone has ever ridden a vrod, they know exactly how quick that 750cc motor is going to be in that lightweight frame!

Whatever turns a dollar. Dedicated HD lovers will build their own ride and since the classic models don't rely on factory support it's no loss to the world. The folks in the Jap bike forums have figured out how to chop Shadows long ago, so a "Harley Shadow" will be easy to do.

Everyone is going to talk shit until some builder chops one or something and then the next thing you know, we're gonna have a "Street pics (yours only) any style" thread.

I'm thinking about buying a new heavy-duty extension cord. You know, to hang myself with.

Internet sources say the US market bikes will be built in Kansas City, the Indian market bikes in India. Makes sense.

As soon as I saw the email from the moco I thought to myself, "Man, I know there is already a thread on the cult bitching about these things." I don't know, they're not half bad. I kinda like the "custom" bikes they have on the site. Just like everything else, there will be some that folks make look bad ass, and there will be a ton that people make look like shit.

Since bloated "two-wheeled car" touring bikes cover their engines anyway there's little point in a traditional air-cooled mill. Might as well have something functionally better like a Honda flat-six.

I see the HD liquid-cooled heads as a good idea. If you want to use the engine in a chopper you could fit air-cooled heads and be good to go. BTW the automobile folks were able to make good-looking radiators in the early 1900s so creative folks should be able to do something with these.

I don't think it's any uglier than any other modern bike.
