I know this thread was a while ago but I have just found it while looking for inspiration for my Enfield build, I was going to build it hardtail but seeing this is exactly how I want it, have you still got the bike how do you get on with the rear suspension setup

      Thanks Dave.

The bike may not be more than 10 years old. And parts for it are more readily available (and cheaper) than they are for some Japanese bikes of the same vintage
Nope. That head design was succeeded in early nineties by the AVL head. Its still a very common indian made enfield. Can be had for 3-400$ in india.

AVL wasn't produced until early 2000, the old style Bullet was produced along side of it for a couple of years . Love the job done on this Enfield Bobber.....

I'm a big fan of the Royal Enfields, always have been. I wanted one of the Bullet 500's soooo bad when I was in high school...you don't see them very often in the states.

You have a sweet ride man, and you gave it the perfect makeover to really bring out the lines. Love it. Treat it well and have fun with it! That paint is epic

Is there any more to that sentiment? Placement, style, color? Anything? LOL.
