I brought the vest 1752 miles from MD to SD but only rode with it ~500 miles (Vermillion, SD to Sturgis, SD).

We aren't from KC haha. Wichita Kansas. But we rode well over 3000 miles with the vest in a little over a month. Took it through 7 states. SD, NE, KS, OK, TX, MO, AR. Its wild to see how the interest comes and goes with this thing. I said twice in this thread that I would hand deliver it to someone in Texas all you gotta do is raise your hand.... crickets. Then after I dump it into unclefester's lap, a bunch of people want it. Here it is with my bike in South Dakota for some inspiration to KEEP THIS FUCKER MOVING

How have you been? Its been a while since we last enjoyed some time together. I'm sorry to do this, but I have to be honest, its you, not me. I keep coming back, hoping that you've changed. I get glimmers of redemption. A couple pictures here, a story there, a few states in the bag. And then, out of no where, you disappear. Eager friends reach out and offer help and support, but you deny them. You're pushing us all away Travelling Vest Thread and all we want to do it help you achieve your goals in this life. I just can't put myself through this anymore. The emotional roller coaster of the highs and lows is getting to be too much. I could handle it, the abuse that is. I always have, but the kids dammit, I can't keep letting you hurt us like this. Its not goodbye forever, its just goodbye for now. Maybe you'll change your terrible ways.
