What's the trail measurement?! Looks positive based on these pictures. Have you ridden it on the highway?

Havent ridden it yet on the highway but at low/medium speed it moves great. Not sure how it measures in inches but it's about 8cm trail if im not mistaking.
I'm using old Harley side cart (rakeable) triple trees, maxed out.

Is this 6 over with a stock rake? I wanna switch my stock length springer with a narrow long springer but dont want to chop the frame up.

A stock glide is a couple inches longer than a stock springer. Personally not a big fan of 6"+ front ends on a stock neck, it's kind of like the 70's fad of big tires sticking out of jacked up cars. Depending on the model, some are longer than others, I would stick with 2" or 4". Handles much better. I once ran a 12" glide on a stock frame, but I had the upper body strength at the time to handle it.

I love the rigids 6 to the moon, and hate the swingarms. Anybody have softtail pics with 6 or bigger?

I have loved this thread for a long time. Was a big part of the inspiration for me to build something. Finally able to contribute the mock-up.

    Stock '71 neck
    12" over narrow springer
    21" front wheel
Not sure on the stretch rear, was hardtailed before I got the bike
    18" rear wheel
    9" risers and drag bars

The trail ends up exactly at 9" (which is a lot - but I'll see what happens when I ride it later this summer and might swap out the rockers if I need better handling.)

This isnít the best photo, but itís a 4 over with a 21. Sits perfect to me, aggressive looking stance.

When the front of the engine is this high you will feel that the
bike is top heavy and the forks will want to flop over.
You may also have to lengthen the kick stand and your feet will not touch the ground.
This idea was done in the 1960's and then experimenting
with increased rake to get the engine back to level began.
