exactly.. thats why im building a hardtail out of one of my xs650s because its alot cheaper then building a triumph. and idk what im going to do with my other xs yet... im thinking about building a brat kit like the monstercraft bike.

Been away from bikes about 25 years, figured it was time to get another one. Started out looking for Triumphs, too pricey, so looked at Kaw w650's, also too pricey, then settled on the xs650. No regrets.

Check this out. If I can find another xs cheap, this is where I want to go with it.

i picked up a non running non title complete xs for $100. but i go knocking door to door on places with alot of old junk laying around if the have any old junk bikes to get rid of

aint pretty but its fun..Ill be tearin it down in the next few weeks n see what i come up with by spring.
Motor rebuild and polish.def some new bars and tires..exhaust and ill finally hook my self up with some rear breaks..So long on only fronts im kinda leary of usin rear to but fk it.

love it. this shows what "building a bike" is about.
any one can go buy bolt on shit. but i think many will agree most of the fun is in the long nights in the garuge with that cold 12pack of pbr an thinking what the fuck else can i make myself so i dont have to pay for it
