i cant remember if ive posted in this thread but heres my XS. pamco, pma, jetted, upgraded external and internal filter, brembo brakes, hydraulic clutch and a 2" drop 4" stretch and paint by blue moon customs. it hasnt been started in a year till just the other day and it started 2nd kick!

Just finished this one up for a friend. 277 rephased 700 big bore kit, VM34, modified Yo Mommas, all the goodies.Thats my Triumph in the back ground there is a build thread for it in the British section.

If it was mine I would change those wing nuts on the rear fender to dome nuts.
I think it would look smoother. Those wing nuts may catch on your clothing and tempt people to turn the
wing nuts just to fiddle with them. Or even just take the sissy bar.

I like the looks of this bike!
Just needs a rear fender to keep clothing from getting wound up in the rear wheel.

After the work and cash I have put into this bike it kills me that I'll probably never ride it again. It may end up being my sons high school graduation present in a couple years. I know he's eyeing it!!

Made some more progress on my ongoing XS650 project. Quick pictures mocking up the tank and fender.

Picked up an '81 project. Rear end is tacked on (but doesn't appear to be lined up with top tube correctly...), tank is in the mail, no decisions on bars or wheels. This might take a while...
