Default input on jet sizes appreciated

has anybody seen this chart before, and does it seem to be pretty accurate?
    http://www.jetsrus.com/FAQs/FAQ_miku...ihin_sizes.htm

reason i ask is i have and '02 883r with nhrs 1250, n4 cams, ness big sucker intake, and a pretty open 2-1 exhaust. what i've picked up on the internet is that my jetting should be somewhere around 45-185. i have a dynojet 180 in there from some kit the PO put in and i think i'm running too rich wot. if this chart is accurate, that could easily be my problem.

this is the kit the PO put on http://www.dynojet.com/pdf/8703.pdf

do you think i am best to swap out the 180 jet with a dynojet 170, or should i put the accelerator pump and stock needle and emulsion tube in there so i can use a keihin 185?

decided the best place to start is go back to stock equipment. found my little parts bin i got from the PO, intalled the accelerator pump, put in the stock needle and emulsion tube with 45-185 and it's running much better.
