I'm in New Brunswick for another week and then moving back to the Shore. Have a bunch of friends down that way that ride and wrench, a few of them post in here too. Gotta love sharing the road with the maniacs here in NJ.

Yeah I would like to check out strange days. I am in Paramus. Do you know any good roads to get there other than just trucking on route 80?

vernon nj here.
maurino17. take route 17 north and go past sterling forest (its where they hold the renaissance fair) and that will eventually lead to 94. take that south and you end up right where you need to be

New brunswick here.. Plannin on goin to strange days too. In the middle of totally rewiring my bike but time should permit. Anyone from central jersey area planning on going up I'm headed there with two other guys from my area.

You could come North on the parkway, get off around Bergen County and then head North West together. It is still another 40 miles from here.

Well I'm not Jersey but Brooklyn and I'm planning to go to SD2 also and doesn't look like any of the NYC guys are going. I almost never ride in Jersey but Google says I should take this route anybody have a better suggestion since it'd your turf
If you guys had a meeting point somewhere I could meet up with you.

hey Detale,
That route will work. It is probably the most direct. It is mostly busy highway on rte 3 and halfway up rte 23. . but then for the last 20 miles or so it will be a little less congested.
I have a few guys who should be going for the day and we can set up a meetup point in north jersey. I guess I'll probably start a new thread soon to collect names and pick a good point.
