    Biltwell Z Bars - Problems?

    Hey Guys,

I just put on my Z's and they look amazing. waiting for my starter plunger button to finish up the just, but I have a question.

My clutch cable is pretty twisted and such due to the short bar, does anyone have experience with this? and if so, is it ok to keep the clutch cable all bent up?

    Thanks!

If you're not going to get a shorter one, re-route it so that it pulls smoothly as it should. Maybe bring it to the opposite side of the headlight and under the neck?

yeah you definitely wanna re-route that cable like the other cat said, and you need to take about 2" off each end of the bars...

Echo.... opposite side of the head light. Then if you decide on a taller bar later you just move the cable back to the original side.

Also try running it in between the fork tubes. It's hard to tell from the pic, but if you're still using the clip (usually on the motor mount bolt) ditch that too. You should be able to make it work.

Recently ran into the same issue and question using the Lo-Drags.

Rerouting it around the other side is great advice, thanks.
