11-06-2019 #1062Guess its a "whatever". Is "chopped" in the sense that the rake is altered from stock - in this case, to be steeper, about 20 degrees, though that's hardly relevant because it uses dual arms and ball joints up front, for a system that is much like BMW's Duolever or whatever Honda calls the setup on the 2018 goldwing.
1981 Yamaha XJ750 Seca with to many mods to list here (I did once, it took up 2 screens). Pipes are off in this picture because I just swapped out the engine (for one from a Maxim) after blowing an oil line on the original. Also upgraded front shock (busa shock vs gsx1000 for heavier spring)
Where were you when George Miller was making Fury Road?

Luky, you are a friend and I need to tell you that seat needs to sit down on the frame and back against the fender.
It looks really weird as it sits. Or a different seat... or something! IMO

Pachop, I see you have some forward controls in classified section and would like to purchase them. I left comment in classified also. Sorry about hacking thread, Elcocko

no pic but you can see my Star 650 at the beginning of this ride from a month ago. It's primarily my winter and foul weather bike but I've toured all over N America on it.

Love that Lou Evil, first time I ever heard that. I have to go to Louisville Cost Plus for the OL's coffee, so I recognize some of those roads, Wife has done the Bourbon Half Marathon a couple of times. Do you go to the Kickdown???

Not since it moved from the Barrett 'hood over to Louisville Turners. I know Chad (RetroWrench) and Scott (H Garage) and understand why they moved it but it's just not my scene... I'm a grumpy anti-social old fart now. Granted I still hit Wednesday bike night every once in awhile on Barrett where the Kickdown used to be but I prefer spending my time riding.
Do you go and what do you think of it? Is dealing with the St Matthews area really worth it for the coffee?Last edited by Skjoll; 05-09-2020 at 7:50 AM.

I think I missed the first couple, but went to a couple at Barrett, and the last two at Turners. I usually just go and see the bikes and head out, OL always gets a room at the casino over in Indiana. Speaking of the OL, she is originally from San Francisco and went to to Cost Plus-World Market that was in Dirty Harry, yep, she's old and they Closed the Cost Plus in Cincy, so St. Mathews is the closest. I know I can order online but she always has to shop for a couple hours and you know the saying, Happy wife, yada, yada.
