Default New Dyna Super Glide Tracker Build - "Pure Evel"

Time to get off my ass, put other things aside and build the bike I've been wanting to build for the last 15 months. I've had the parts lying in the corner collecting dust for too long....time to build a bike....A bike that pays homage to one of the coolest figures any young boy could grow up to aspire to....Evel Knievel.

    The inspiration:

    Day one....stock 2007 FXD:

Storz Tail Section & Progressive 970's for an XL...I'm hoping the spring rates will be enough without loading them with preload...Might have to call the Progressive rep if they are too soft.

I dig that the tail section is pretty much the same, are you going to do anything with the tank, or make the paint the same?

I am REALLY looking forward to seeing more of this build. I used to have one of those Storz tracker tail sections, and I am kicking myself for trading it away.

Got some more work done. Front end is now together as well as the chain drive complete. They sell kits for this but they are expensive as fuck. I put my own kit together. Pro Taper bars up front....these are a 4 Wheeler bend with more rise....should work well with mid controls.

    Here's the progress:

Mocking up the pipes before I finish the top end of the motor. Thinking about doing a collector and then a cafe style short cone muffler.
