Default Minimal Battery for an Alternator?

I'm looking for the smallest/lightest capacitor, battery, hybrid or combination thereof for my kick only cone Shovelhead.
It has a 32 amp 12 volt alternator charging system. Currently scrounging for a 17 amp charging system.
I am running a hall effects style ignition with Mechanical advance. So, no electronic ignition brain to worry about.
I understand it only needs 7 amps/12 volts to charge the coils. BTW, Single fire, dual plug, one dual output 3ohm coil for each head.
Headlight and/or tail/brakelight can be turned off when starting.

I was looking at small dirtbike batteries, battery eliminator capacitors and hybrids like for car audio systems.
Will a just a capacitor hold enough charge to trigger the hall effect pick-ups on the "points plate" and charge the coils?
Will the 32 amp charging system cook or be cooked by a smaller battery and or the capacitor?
    What are you guys running?
What would be the smallest/lightest batt/cap or combo?

This will probably not help, but on my 72 honda SL350, w/ points and dual 5ohm coils, always on headlight/LED taillight, kick-only, I am running one of these...

Works good for about a week, then I trickle charge it. It was $20 at batteries plus, sealed, and I am very happy with it. Yeah, I know, it's not a big twin.

Also, what coils are you using for your dual plug set-up? I'm using 3ohm HD ones on my points ironhead, just looking at other options.

Id like to know what the tech is inside those shrink wrapped batteries from motydesign.
I thought li-po was how they get skinny in Hollywood.

    .
I think they are A123 cells, bridged together. Of course, it seems battery technology keeps coming up with new and better recipes every few months.

looks like they are lithium -ion batteries. Standard ones have larger particles and the "new" ones smaller.
    Same as in cordless drills.
I have a few batt packs lying around. time to experiment!
