"Lester" the CB750A Hondamatic
Got a build thread going over on Hondachopper.com, but thought 'I'd do it over here too. No sense preaching to the choir, if ya know what I mean. Started with a CB750A Hondamatic motor, and some time on my hands.

Stock CB750 hub buffed up on my Harbor Freight $39 buffer with some stainless steel spokes from Buchanans Spokes that also got the buffer teatment and a 500-16 Coker tire.
The back is from a CB750F, not running a front brake, thought a disk out back would be a good idea.

The motor is a '77, got a 850cc kit and cam from Cycle X to add some GO to the Hondamatic, now the two speeds will be FAST, and FASTER.

Looks mean with the engine in.........can't help but love the oil filter sticking out like someone unzipped its fly. Always a shout out to Nater over at Casket Factory Customs for that filter adapter.
Got the seat, perches, 3" springs and stainless hinge from Lowbrow........
Also from Lowbrow..........the perfect tail light.

Spent some quality time with a grinder and file and carved a steering stop from some scrap. MIG to the cup, this thing is going to have the turning radius of the moon.
After moving the tank all over, settled on a spot and got to drilling.

Very cool and clean bike! The speedo mounted on the fork is freaking neat. I see that becoming a trend.
Would look cool with a pair of two into ones, straight no megaphone pipes, right under the pegs stopping at the kick up on each side. Just a thought.
