................got the frame back from powder, painted the engine and started what I hope is final assembley.
Polishing the aluminum covers, man how I forgot what a PITA sanding and buffing aluminum is.

haha! This is my first visit to this thread and I knew after page 1 that I needed to chime in that everything works together really well on this bike; awesome build. Then I get to NHMike's post and he about summed it up 10x better than I could....

That thing is looking nice. Where did you get the seat or did you engrave it yourself? Looks great. Nice work.

The seat is from Low Brow Customs. Solid cast aluminum. It comes as a raw sandcast, and took a day of sanding and polishing in my garage. I sent it out to a guy named Otto Carter that did the carving. I wanted just enough carving, to go whith the theme of the bike. I drew what I wanted and he cleaned up my drawings and carved it in. I think any more would not fit the bike.

Polished up my pipes and mounted them. Changed to 3" springs for my seat, the 2" weren't up the the task of holding my fat ass up. Got some Steel Dragon velocity stacks to go on my mikuni carbs.
