        Thanks ...

About those side window shades, aka: rain guards, I couldn't find any for a bolt-on fit ...
Guess IH trucks are still sucking hind tit when it comes to aftermarket parts ..

I got a set for 51-55 Chevy pickups (Ya can get anything under the sun for a Ford or Chevy), going to try a bit of magic (Got a new wand off the Snap-On truck I'm wanting to try out) and get em to work ..
We'll see how it goes soon .. ?

        .. Holy ..
Think I'll ask for my money back on that wand !!

Had thoughts about cutting them down to fit the truck ..
That's going to be a chore to do ... Wanting to keep the stainless steel shine, but if I do the slice and weld together that might not be possible .. Just may end up painting them .. ??

The fit at the rear is near perfect ... Even the front fits well ...
Going to sleep on what needs to be done ..

Sure do wish some was available for this make & model ...

Do like your suggestion a lot better than my thoughts, but, ya know I wouldn't get a dang thing done !!

                    Nice fit back there ...

The front will be a bit of work to make it look like it belongs ...

I buy electrical spares for perfectly good parts but it beats fuckery down the road so I'd at least get a spare fob and stash that with the title so it doesn't vanish into the ether. One trip through a washing machine it all it takes to kill them.

Creative kill switches and a silent alarm could be useful additions (more than one) because that truck is tasty even to the most clueless tweaker.

Keyless door lock kit came with two fobs ...
I'll be good to go there for a while ...

A bit more icing for the cake ... Coming up !!

I agree, and have suggested at least an anti-theft of some sort. The truth is, 'you', and a ".357 mag" are not available 24/7... Anything to help is a good thing!

Sheet metal repairs? Fuck yeah! (More info for me as sheet metal ain't my strong suit.)

Since the engine has to come out to smooth the firewall that would be a fine time for an alloy BBC with (Holley still make new ones) a fuel saving Hilborn injection which no one would ever buy for those beautiful alloy venturis. An overdrive cain't hurt to save gas and engine wear:

Gear swaps for fine tuning would be fast and easy with a Winters (used race car parts can be much cheaper than new while not being hurt):

Instead of trying to polish the weld after grinding it down maybe engine turning it (whole or just a stripe down the center) might work to hide the weld and might be easier and maybe not. Just a thought.
